Beach 49 Black Lava Gravel - Rough

Professional quality natural black gravel aquarium substrate, sustainably sourced and 100% natural. Suitable for use in all types of aquariums where a dark coloured substrate in a through-graded range of sizes is desired.

Smooth rounded particle shape, together with in excess of 96% basalt and granite materials makes this mixed size gravel an ideal product for Marine Aquariums, Tropical and Coldwater setups alike. The unique through-grading of our Beach 49 Rough Gravel provides for a natural look, and with a signature lighter coloured granite fleck demonstrating that this is not an artificial gravel that has been coloured black.

These gravels are exceptionally clean having been washed, graded and kiln dried.
